Atrani Amalfi Coast

Atrani, only 700 meters from the famous Amalfi is the only country of the Amalfi Coast intact in its original character of a small fishing village.
The beauty of Atrani lies in choreography that draws around the beach and in the tangle of houses, posed on one another, which makes him look like a crib, especially at night when the lights are on. It has a small beach gathering and protected in the evening, the boats that depart for fishing. At night, the thousand points of light of the other boats at sea are the most beautiful vision that we can have the Mediterranean. In a place so small there are many things to see.
Why Atrani at the time of the maritime republics, was inhabited by the noble families of Amalfi. And here the Doges were crowned and buried.

The kitchen Atrani broadly that of Naples, makes use of fish and seafood recipes antique handed down from mother to daughter.
The main ingredients, in addition to fish, fresh cheeses are from the hills (Mozzarella, provole), fresh tomatoes, "a piennolo" that is grouped in clusters that are preserved until the winter, the handmade pasta as "scialatelli" and "laganelle". Atrani are delicious desserts like or 'bocconotto', so good with the cream and the cherry which is eaten one bite, or 'pasticciotto" which is its gargantuan version, the speaker or those made with lemon, here called "sfusato Amalfi" and is undoubtedly the finest in the Mediterranean.
Among the liquor made from ancient recipes peasant is not only famous but also the lemon walnut (Or "nocillo"), and strawberries, the myrtle, the concert, fennel, laurel, delicious aromas reminiscent eighteenth-century parlors.
Not to mention the jewelry as "raisins, grapes, sun-dried and stored wrapped in lemon leaves tied with a thin reed, or figs to cross, placed in the typical wicker baskets and seasoned with spices, to be consumed at Christmas.
